We are working with businesses to offer services that will ultimately
ensure the River Don is an asset to their business. We will work with
businesses to ensure that they meet their statutory and legal requirement
of riparian ownership to ensure that their riverside is in a good
condition. We will work with you so that your employees, customers
and the wider Sheffield Community can benefit from a more pleasant
waterside environment.
Historically the river has been at the heart of Sheffield’s
trade and industrial development and it is time for business again
to ensure this becomes an asset for their own use.
We aim to develop rewarding partnerships with businesses on and around
the river, as well as those in other parts of the city. Working with
businesses we aim to develop and maintain a superior river environment
for their advantage. We have introduced a range of initiatives to
encourage business support.
