New RSC Apprentices

Monday, 23rd January 2012

The RSC’s two new apprentices – Haydn Richards and Kyle Lindley – started work with us earlier this month. The posts have been partially funded by the ‘Opportunity 100 Programme’, along with another 9 posts at four other Sheffield environmental organisations.

New RSC Apprentices

The apprenticeship posts last for 15 months and are full-time, with one day each week spent at Hillsborough College where the apprentices will work towards an NVQ Level 2 in Environmental Conservation.

Haydn and Kyle have settled in well to the RSC team. Along with a host of transferrable skills, during their time with us, they’ll gain additional qualifications in Brushcutting and First Aid at work.

Our CHAS Accreditation

Monday, 5th December 2011

We’re delighted to have had our CHAS accreditation confirmed this month. CHAS is the market leader for health and safety pre-qualification in the UK.

Our CHAS Accreditation

To qualify, we had to evidence that we have a robust health and safety management system in place, that we comply with current health and safety legislation, and that we record and review our health and safety performance.

The accreditation shows our customers that we work to best practice health and safety standards, and will help to give us a competitive edge in tendering for new work.
