Tree management and removal:
We offer the full spectrum of tree removal and management services in compliance with current legislation and the highest industry standards. We can advise on pruning to enable a young tree to fulfil its potential, or mature trees which require remedial work to suit their setting and safety considerations.
Vegetation clearance:
We deliver a sensitive approach to vegetation clearance using hand tools where some species need to be removed, whilst others are allowed to remain, or where the use of power tools is unsuitable (for instance on some public sites). We also manage grass and scrub areas using brushcutters, strimmers, and mowers. We can offer more specialist management techniques such as hedge laying and coppicing to ensure vegetation functions well in its setting, or to showcase heritage woodland management techniques.
Invasive species eradication including Japanese Knotweed and Himalayan Balsam:
We offer eradication of Japanese Knotweed using environmentally sensitive glyphosate treatment. We specialise in using the injection method to treat individual plants, which is more effective and targeted than spraying. This creates a cost effective solution to Japanese Knotweed as it needs less applications. We also eradicate Himalyan Balsam and Buddleia ('Butterfly Bush'), a particular problem when growing out of retaining walls.
Litter removal and disposal/recycling:
We have access equipment and the expertise to remove litter and debris from difficult to reach areas of water courses including the river channel as well as riverbanks and riverside areas. We are licensed to transport green waste for composting or chipping, and can make the necessary arrangements for the recycling and disposal of tyres, gas bottles and hazardous waste such as asbestos and hypodermic needles.
