TEAM BUILDING DAYS

Organisations not close to the river but who are still passionate about it and want to support its future can actively get involved with our work. The River Stewardship Company offer Team Building Days which give employees a chance to participate in activities on the River Don and Tinsley Canal. These activities include projects for teams such as cleaning up a specific section of the river, habitat creation and management, painting of railings in a particular area.

We will also offer fun activities such as a boat trip (perhaps including lunch), canoeing, or a guided walk with one of our wildlife/heritage experts.

Other activities include litter collection, maintaining footpaths and hedge laying.

There will be opportunities to work with River Stewards on specific projects and you can commit as much time and resource to this as you want. So it may be a one day assignment or a long term project requiring one day a month for a year. The River Stewardship Company is flexible enough to be able to work with you on your requirements and establish a cost for your involvement.

We are able to work closely with your HR department and build in any specific team building exercises and activities that are in line with your HR policy.

Under the expert guidance of our River Stewards your team can participate in activities to build their skills in a new and stimulating environment. These skills maybe transferred to your workplace to help staff tackle the changing demands of a working environment.
