Site Supervisor

River Stewardship Company (RSC) are looking to recruit experienced, motivated and knowledgeable Site Supervisors to deliver a variety of waterway maintenance contracts and community engagement projects in Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Derbyshire.

Successful applicants will have experience of carrying out practical maintenance contracts, with experience in waterways environments being an advantage.

Experience of supervising teams of paid employees, volunteers and others on contract delivery or practical conservation volunteer days is essential.

Applicants must have at least two current land-based licenses (which may include Chainsaw, Brush cutter, Pesticide application and Wood-chipper) as well as a full, clean UK driving license with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience.

Although it is not essential, it is desirable for applicants to hold relevant qualifications in First Aid at Work, Health and Safety and Water and Flood Awareness.

Site Operative

River Stewardship Company (RSC) are looking to recruit motivated, passionate and reliable Site Operatives to deliver a variety of waterway maintenance contracts and community engagement projects in Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Derbyshire.

The position is an ideal opportunity to gain experience in the environmental sector, therefore previous experience is not essential for the role.

Although it is not essential, it is desirable for applicants to hold relevant qualifications in First Aid at Work, Health and Safety and Water and Flood Awareness. A full, clean UK driving license with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience would also be beneficial for the role, but is not essential.
