RIVER STEWARDSHIP
The River Stewardship Company in Sheffield has
been set up with the primary objective of maintaining and improving
the waterside environment for business and local people in and around
South Yorkshire.
It is in a unique position, operating with the support of partners;
Groundwork Sheffield, Sheffield Wildlife Trust, Sheffield City Council,
Environment Agency, Five Weirs Walk Trust and the Upper Don Valley
Walk Trust. This unique partnership means that the River Stewardship
Company is in a strong position to offer expertise on all matters
concerning the river.
