Get onboard with the River Stewardship Skills Scheme
We are recruiting for our River Stewardship Skills Scheme with trainee places available in both Sheffield and Leeds! 💦
If you love being outdoors and want to forge a future in environmental conservation, this could be a great chance to learn a whole host of practical and transferable skills, meet new people and have a lot of fun along the way!
Join us for a taster day in the Primrose Valley Nature Reserve, Leeds on Friday 14 October | 10am – 3pm, where we’ll be working alongside Yorkshire Wildlife Trust on pond enhancement and maintenance. It’s a chance to get into waders and help with bull rush and tree thinning which helps let in light and aids the flow of water here.
To register your interest in the Leeds taster day and / or Leeds and Sheffield based river skills courses, please contact [email protected] for more information. We’d love to hear from you!
