Riverlution River Fun Day

Join us for a FREE Riverlution River Fun Day! 💙💦

Wednesday 26 October | 11am - 3pm

Come on down to the riverside and enjoy fun family activities curated and delivered by our River Stewardship Skills Scheme trainees!

Youngsters will discover how to be safe when exploring our rivers and have-a-go at some nature-based arts and crafts, from charcoal making to creating bug hotels and a bird feeder from recycled materials!

As part of the event, we will also be working with Ignite Imaginations exploring what 'We enjoy' about our rivers. The activity is commissioned by Efficiency North as part of an exciting project to create a series of artworks that celebrate their company values which will be displayed in a community exhibition in Sheffield City Centre later in the year.

The River Stewardship Company will be hosting a 'River Clean Up' day from 10am along with our friends at Kelham Island and Neepsend Community Alliance, you'll find us towards the end of the island, entering via Kelham Island Museum. Kelham Island Museum will also be celebrating the importance of our rivers through their exciting October half term family activity session - 'Let's Invent - Keep our Rivers Clean'.
