Riverlution skills scheme named as 'Education Initiative of the the Year'
Our Riverlution team we're delighted to receive recognition for the ground-breaking River Stewardship Skills Scheme at this year's South Yorkshire Sustainability Awards, held at Magna on Thursday 28 September.
The pioneering training scheme took home the title of 'Education Initiative of the Year', and the award was received on the night by Riverlution's Chris Lucas and Geoffrey Guy accompanied by Riverlution Director, David Gray.
Geoffrey Guy, Riverlution Manager was thrilled to receive the regional accolade:
It's been fantastic being involved with the River Stewardship Skills Scheme since joining Riverlution and River Stewardship Company and really satisfying for the scheme to get this recognition yesterday. The fact it followed on from a celebration the previous evening of our trainee stewards achievements was the 'cherry on top' of a great week.
